This book contains four short stories: Murder in the Mews, The Incredible Theft, Dead Man's Mirror and Triangle at Rhodes. The plot of the title story centres on the presumed suicide of a woman but Hercule Poirot suspects murder.
The collection was published in 1937 by William Collins Sons & Co. in London, and as Dead Man's Mirror and Other Stories by Dodd, Mead & Co. in New York. All stories were adapted for television in 1989 by LWT in England, and also shown on PBS in the U.S.
