I am on the lookout for a copy as well, along with the radio and television plays.
Maybe someday that will see the light of day and come into print.
The paly was originally performed as Fiddlers Five before in became Fiddlers Three. I DFon't know if it was pub;ished under that title. Would love to find out though.
Pale_HorseI think the only way to get hold of a copy of Fiddler's Three will be to watch on ebay for a copy of the original script. I have to admit the chances of this happening are slight to non-existant though.
Dear Pale Horse, Thank you for your response re Fiddlers Three. My little research indicates that it was eventually published as Fiddlers Five. I have yet to order/prove this so will keep at it and inform all of the outcome. Cheers!

GKCfanI don't believe that Fiddlers Three has ever been published. I think that "The Chess Problem" is the original title of a short story that was adapted to become a chapter with the same title of The Big Four.

HIYA !
I too am searching for this book, Fiddler's Three. Also, in Mathew Bunson's The Complete Christie - An Agatha Christie Encyclopaedia published by Pocket Books - a Division of Simon & Schuster, Inc New York in 2000, there is a listing of 'The Chess Problem'. Is this a title variation? If so, what other title does it have? Any help would be appreciated.

Its very frustrating trying to get hold of a copy. I did try Chorian but was told they couldn't help and had no idea how to get hold of a copy. Our only hope is to hope that someone out there sees these messages and responds positively.
I don't know of any copy in existence (outside of the Christie archives). I'd love to read it, though.

I know this play has never been published and doesn't have the highest reputation in the Christie canon but I am very keen to read it. Does anyone out the have any idea as to how I could get hold of text ?
