i can't seem to be able to get the parachute together,(i have the sewn sheets)did i miss something? and how do you get by the other goat

To get by the single goat, take a bucket of water from the garden and put it in the trough. 

As for the parachute, you need to assemble it in your inventory, out of the sewn sheets, tripod, and something else I forget at the moment.  Check the instruction plans.
