I believe the murderers are the most interesting part of the novel. My favorite MARPLE murderer is probably Josie Parker in The Body in the Library. I had absolutely no idea when I was reading the book that it was her.
I also liked BBC production because there was that extra twist that Josie and Adelaide Jefferson had an affair. Who's your favorite murderer in the Miss Marple series?
