Murder Is Easy

I enjoyed last nights Murder Is Easy although thgere were Some bits I didn't like, I thought the way Miss Pinkerton died wasn't Credible, I didn't like the Change of Motive and Bridget's involvement had changed but the Acting was great especially Benedict Cumberbatch, Steve Pemberton, Jemma Redgrave (The Mixing of the Cocktails was very funny) and Sylvia Sims (Who I think would have made a brilliant MM) there was alot going on in our house so I didn't catch why Luke was in Wychwood and I thought Shirley Henderson looked too young but apart from that and Miss Marple's hat and my usual comments on Music and Graphics I thought it was very good.

I'm truly glad you enjoyed it Tommy :0)

I'm sorry to say that I didn't. I just couldn't get my brain wrapped around the idea that the persona, and appearnce of the murderer(s) was changed so drastically from the way it was in the novel.

As for Benedict Cumberbatch: imho, his acting wasn't all that great

And LOL I see lots of comments round the Christie forum about MM's hat! What's wrong w/ it? (I mean this in good humor, btw).

Hi Mole, I thought Benedict Cumberbatch's acting was fine, and Russel Tovey's, I too felt the same about the Murderer, I think they should have stuck to the book more but I liked it, About the hat, I just think it didn't suit her, it was a very nice hat, I have notghing against the hat it just shouldn't have been worn by MM, I hope eventually we get the 1st hat back. btw, What happened to the site over the weekend?

Oh I see what you mean about the hat now. The old GM hat was kind of a trade mark.

And I wondered the same thing about the site at first. But then I thought, well, perhaps it is being remodled. Because one of the Morderators announced that there would be changes to the site soon. But now that every thing is up and running, and I don't see any changes, I have no idea what went on.

And even though I still love my old username, pray call me Bundle, Tommy :0).

Oh sorry Bundle, I didn't realise I had called you Mole, I was on the site Friday afternoon and tried to get on on Saturday and couldn't, I don't see how the hat was a trademark as it wasn't the one used by GM and JH only used a hat like that in A Murder is Announced and Nemesis.

Oh I thought you meant by first hat - that you were referring to the GM hat that she used to wear a lot.

Yes I agree, perhaps the Prducers were trying t go down the Comedic route to thinking they couldn't improve on the books so a comic slant might work, I saw a production of Murder at thed vicarage which was done a humourouse way which didn't quite work for me but the GM version did - apart from Alexander Armstrong as the Policeman.

It was yellow wasn't it? I can't say that I noticed it much.

Yellow... I don't know... but her hats always looked a bit too small imo, and the brims of her hats were rather flat.
