As you can guess from the title I finished Dead Man's Folly and this is my rant! I loved the idea the whole murder mystery hunt thing but I just felt that the solution was just silly. Poirot is great in the book and I felt very pleased when I got some of the solution right! I did guess based on Meredell's words "there will always be Folliats at Nasse House" and I thought that Mrs Folliat's son (which both supposedly dies but it is revealed that James simply deserted) had a daughter and she was Lady Stubbs. Never did it occour to me that they both might be imposters! I did also think that the Folly would be a good place to hide a body. I read the book on Detective Conan's recomendations and I thought it was a book worth reading. Not the best by far of the Christie books I have read but woth reading nonetheless. Well done again Mrs Christie you won again!
