I was just a bit younger than the two of you when my love for Dame Agatha Christie started. I already was a hugh fan of trains, then my mother told me about this book she had read a few years before titled Murder on the Orient Express. I was hooked even though it was a bit complicated for me at the time I knew the rest of life I would be infatuated with her. None of my friends could understand what it was that I liked about her, they were still playing with dress up and dolls. You two are very lucky that you are beginning your enjoyment of her works in this age of technogoly. You have so much more access to information than I did. Good luck to the two of you with your AC books.

I am 49 and read my first AC novel in 1984. I was on Paddington station waiting for a train to take us on holiday to Devon. I popped into the bookshop on the platform and picked up "Evil Under The Sun". By the end of the week's holiday I had brought a further five novels and by the end of that year and read most of her books. I re-read them approximately every three years.

I really love reading books and using technology like my Ipod, computers, watching television and more and when I played a game called Death On the Nile, I heard that it was a book so I bought the books until I began liking her works and pc games. Agatha Christie books are really NOT for adults only but also for teens and some kids. My uncle loves reading books by Agatha Christie when he was a teen. Anyway I also love reading Harry Potter and Narnia books and some comedies. My fave AC book is Death On the Nile.

I was 9 when I read my first AC book and I got hooked! I have always been a strange girl, I don't like technology, I just love everything classical. In my school, nobody cares about reading so it's good to be here.

I'm seventeen have read Christie for almost two years, my first was Murder on the Orient Express. I recognize what you are saying aripoimar and detpj, most of my friends neither love nor hate reading, they read when the teacher tells them to. It's mostly TV or the computer that amazes young people these days, but I have also noticed old people falling for all technology and forget the book treasure we've got. Sad indeed!

I read my first AC book two years ago when I was 13. It took me a little over a year to read them all.

As for whether my friends love or hate reading, they will do it for English class, but rarely will you see them pick up an actuall novel of their own accord.

I start reading AC books when I was 12, the first one I read was Sparkling Cyanide (I think its called this way in english, in spanish is Cianuro Espumoso). I live in Mexico, and I can't make friends because I like to read.

So I must select between friends and AC books, and I proudly selected Dame Agatha Christie books.

I am 11, so I am a... pre-teen? I`m not too sure... Most people my age do not find reading at all interesting, but I do. I have tried to find AC Poirot books, but haven`t been successful. Which ACP books could you suggest? Thanks, in advance.

Hello. I am 19 and have been reading AC since I was...I don't know but at least by middle school. I actually got hooked on her stories by watching Poirot on PBS when I was really little. It was my favorite thing on tv. Somewhere in the 4th or 5th grade my parents bought a couple of her books to see if I would like those too and I have been reading and rereading them ever since.
