I rate this book 6.5/10. This is an okay book. Let's just say a good book. The first 10(or 15) are good but the middle scenes/chapters are a bit boring. The twists and plots are really good. The characters are also good. I also love the settings! It is also suspensful. The ending is so surprising but I think I guessed who the murderer was. My favorite characters are Miranda and Judith Butler. And Ariadne and Poirot, too-of course!

Its a good question - I never really understand the ratings given. How does one decide between an 8 and a 6.5?

Since I easily guessed the murderer (the clue was too obvious for me), plus the low tempo of the middle, it is 5/10 in my book.

And the rating scale:

0 - Ugh, what a horrible, badly written book. I pity the trees which were used in the process of making the paper for it.

1-3 - It's badly written, but it has some redeemable qualities, few that they may be.

4-5 - A mediocre work. It has some worthy parts, but not more

6-7 - Well, it was an enjoyable book, but I find parts of it lacking.

8-9 - A good and interesting book, well worth your read.

10 - OMG  this is one of the best books EVA!!!!!111!!!

I rate it 6/10. The end was suprising and creepy but I think there was something missing in the book. It was enjoyable!

detectivepauljohn How were you able to read what Lone Wolf said to be able to agree with him/her as what he/she said is covered up? By The way Aurora, I rate ABC Murders and Cards On the Table 10 out of 10 as I have read them more than Twice each and also Death In the Clouds as it is a sort of Locked Room Mystery and I loved it and was spurred on to try and figure out who the Murderer(s) were and also After The Funeral, I loved the setting and the Characters and Mrs McGinty's Dead, that is my favourite book so far with Ariadne Oliver - I haven't read Pale Horse, Others I have given 10 to are not Poirot Books.

Hi Winnebago,

There is a bug in the system which we are working to fix.  You should be able to see the spoilers soon.  I'm sorry for the problems that you have experienced.
