Hi guys! This is the 1st topic i start over here and i thought it'd be a good idea to share your views about this book. In fact it is the latest Christie i read. It has such an amazing plot and the ending was quite unexpected. My favourite character is Pilar Estravados. It merits a 10/10 for its brillance don't you think

I just finished it and the ending was so shocking and surprising. My favorite characters are Hilda Lee, Pilar Estravados and Stephen Farr. But in my opinion, Hilda Lee is the best character in the book because I like her attitude-strong-something like that. The twists and plot and setting are amazing! Agatha Christie is really the best mystery writer of all time!

Yeah, it's brilliant.I read it in Easter, but this doesn't matter  I think it is a 9/10 book.

Yes - I agree with all the above comments. I think Simeon Lee is one of her best drawn characters, even though he was so unsympathetic. I'm not sure I buy into the method by which the murder was committed - that was probably one of AC's most far-fetched methods. The revealing of the murderer though is a masterstroke

A must to read every December - the ITV adaptation is super, as well.

I simply adored this book. One of my favorites on all accounts. The plot was brilliant, the execution of Simeon Lee was master-minding...a must read according to me. I give this book a definite 20/20.
