Be warned, although it has Hastings and Japp it isn't one of ACs best, apparently she was pregnant when she wrote it and it was the result of three books which she made into 1

I hope I will soon have time to read this book cause I can't believe what many summaries say. Hastings betrays Poirot, knowing that would be his death, to save his wife (and himself, I guess) from torture and death???
I can believe it. I really thought there friendship was real, even indestructable. I can't help but loses my respect for Hastings.
Of course it is an impossible, terrible thing for Hastings to choose between his dear friend and his wife. Will it be a fight between friendship and love? And will love win again?
