Of course I would not think that you are stupid, and neither did I doubt the verity in the word of a fellow German. I see what you mean though... What can we say about some problems that may occur on this website from time to time. If it helps, my skype name is exactly the same as my profile name on this site. Write something in German and I will get who you are. Cheers!
Thank you John, but I've tried that a thousand times before. You probably don't believe me or think I'd be stupid so I took a screenshot and took it to a photo hosting page:

This is your Profile now but I made your NAme unreadable and the page can only be found via this link. this is really what can be seen when I click on your profile. No link for contacting! And for the other thing: I had the "allow others to contact you..." thing also ticked but it seems still not to work... I could send you a screen shot to that too but I think after you've seen the first one... You'll believe me ;-) what could be the reason?
I'm from Australia. I watched the Boxing Day Test at the MCG and then watched us thrash India in the other tests on TV.
Thank you treplag, but I'm afraid I still can't find it. I'm making such a fuss but I can't help it. I've browsed that profile page you come to very often but I never saw anything helpful. Either I'm perfectly blind or it's missing when I do that stuff :-(
Laura - You only have to log in, click on the person's username in the post, and you will see "Contact this member". Click on it.
Haha I still didn't figure out how to contact someone through the profile... I tried it several times but every time that I got logged in I didn't find a bottom anymore.... However I don't mind speaking English but I'd be happy if we could write a little German together, too! So... Maybe you can contact me or someone explains me how to ;-)
You may contact me through my profile, forwarding your e-mail address if you want to carry on in German!
PS. Sorry for the English, but it would be a bit strange if I wrote in German whilst nobody but you understands...
Laura, of course I know München! Send my greetings to dear Berchtesgaden - the fairest corner of this world in my opinion. London is wonderful, but I had to move away for my university studies unfortunately... Still I am not that far! Have you ever visited England?

yes john-c, a bit tactless.
there was a young lady from limerick..........
Ah John I just read your comment ;-) Im from Bavaria. Living near Munich. You probably know it (at least from Hearsay) when parts of your family are German. London must be wonderful, is it not? I ever dreamed of living in England. When I'm done with school and have my final exams... Maybe I can study there... That would be soo wonderful. ;D
john_c_hamilton - I think it is reasonable to assume that it was a typo. Since this is supposed to be a forum for initiating friendships, your comment is at odds with the spirit of the thing.
Laura,
I had no idea that you are German! Where do you come from in Germany if I may ask?
I was born and brought up in London and I have moved to Oxford this October. Originally I am only partly English - the rest of my family being mostly German, Austrian and Russian - hence I simply say I am European!
Ingerlund! But I'm originally from India and I've lived in India, Iran, UAE & Spain. From Lancashire in England.
I am from Washington State USA
Ι am from Greece.
