Wasn't it Mr shaitana who said those murderers who are caught are necessarily inferior because they've been detected?
Saying that, I do admire the ingenuity of The killers in Death on the Nile and Peril at End House..

^^Remember spoiler warnings. I'm just dashing this off so no one casually glancing through the recent posts will see the name.
Orient Express spoiler in above post! Please remember spoiler warnings Daniel. Anyway glad you enjoyed the book.

My favorite murderers are 12 "good people" in ORIENT EXPRESS. Twelve good people and truth.
If people just said "The Murderer in (Add Title)" They wouldn't need to Cover them up and people could read the posts and those who have read the books would know who they are and those who haven't wouldn't have them spoillt and wouldn't let their Curiosity get the better of them
LOL! I'm afraid to look behind all those spoiler labels! ;)
I wish there was a way to write which book it is and then hide the spoiler so that we could pick and choose which labels to look behind.

Definitely the murderer in Taken at the Flood. What an audacious plan, and he/she might have got away with it without resorting to murder. Why didn't they send the victim abroad for their health instead?

Oh, this is a topic just filled to the brim with spoilers! I love it!
My favourite killer has to be the one in The Hollow. Christie spent so much time developing characters in that book, that by the end, I had gotten to care for them all.

I know this is a very strange question, but we all have a favorite villian. Mine's Jane Wilkinson in Lord Edgware Dies. She fooled Poirot into almost eliminating her from the suspect list. She was very cunning and smart. Who's your favorite murderer?
