Slightly off topic, but Cluedo has recently had some "interesting" editions (ex: The Simpsons, Tower of Terror, 24, Harry Potter, etc.), so I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled off an AC version...
maybe Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie?
I agree go_leafs but would add DOTN, DITC and EUTS to the list.
As a fan of both Agatha and Cluedo, I think it would be really tough to pull off a "general" game (i.e. incorporating as much of Agatha as possible in one game). Great suggestions, GKCfan, but that would be really hard to make into a board.
The one thing that might work would be making a game themed on only one Christie in particular, such as ATTWN or MOTOE.
Instead of Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Rev Green and Co you could have any 6 of these; Poirot, Miss Marple, Supt Battle, Lady Derwent, Bobby Jones, and Tommy and Tuppence either together or on Different Cards, you could also have Hastings, Miss Lemon, Ariadne Oliver, Colonel Race, Dolly Bantry, Lucy Eyelesbarrow, Japp, Colonel Melchett, Colonel Clithering, Inspector Slack, Doctor Haydock, Inspector Craddock and Albert this way the people playing could choose who they are much like in Monopoly, the setting could be the Island in 'And Then There Were None'.
These are really good suggestions and maybe also the vicarage from the first Marple case, however, I sent an e-mail regarding this to the Agatha Christie team, but there are no plans of producing a game yet, but I'll keep on hoping!
Are you talking about a special edition game? Well, they couldn't have actual killers from Christie books as the players– that would spoil the books, but they could have detectives (ie., who SOLVED the murder), with, say, Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy & Tuppence, Hastings, and Mrs. Oliver as the players.
The weapons could be the Tunisian dagger from Murder of Roger Ackroyd, the sugar hammer from Mrs. McGinty's Dead, the dart and blowpipe from Death in the Clouds, the pearl-handled pistol from Death on the Nile, the noose from And Then There Were None, and the syringe from Crooked House.
The settings could be Styles Hall, the Orient Express, the Karnak (on the Nile), Bertram's Hotel, Gossington Hall, the archaeological dig from Murder in Mesopotamia, the Carribean resort in A Caribbean Mystery, Indian Island, and Monkswell Manor from the Mousetrap.
Of course, these are just suggestions.
Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Soldier Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear.
When the wealthy patriarch, Aristide, is murdered, suspicion falls on the whole household. ...
Travelling on the Orient Express, Poirot is approached by a desperate American. Afraid that someone plans to kill him, Ratchett asks Poirot for help ...

Do you think there should be an Agatha Christie Cluedo?
