If you're looking for Tom Adams's wonderful work, try to find a copy of "The Agatha Christie Cover Story," aka "Agatha Christie- the Art of Her Crimes." It's an anthology of most of his covers along with great commentary.
About how much of a difference in height is their between the new Australian hardcovers?

I' ve already got 2 copies of the Agatha Christie - The Art of Her Crimes and its fantastic. But unfortunately i have become a bit OCD in my book collection as I try and refine my collection to include only Fontana published versions of Mrs Christie's books specifically those with Mr Adams's artwork on the cover.
Some of the original hardcover re - releases had a variant to 1 to 2 cm height difference, which my last visit to the bookshop confirmed the publishers appear to have since rectified this issue.

I love the new hard cover versions of the original sublime artwork for the AC books they have in Melbourne(AU), but i wish they had made them all of a uniform height (oops just my fastidious Poirotesque nature coming to the surface).
I hope they re-release the Tom Adams devine cover versions as it is getting harder and harder to locate copies in second hand stores that are in decent nick.
