Tommy_A_Jones said : Afew weeks ago I saw an Actor on Midsomer Murders called Jamie Belman, he would be good as Anthony Cade or as I said on another Topic it would be good if James Warwick hads a son who was an Actor, I can think of someone else but have to find out his name.
I am not familiar with the actor, but they always have good ones on Midsomer Murders.
Hey 3rd Girl. We'll migrate to your topic but I had already started a Secret of Chimneys topic -- I should have told you -- but lets use the other topic to discuss the novel and this one just for the cast!
And good let's get to discussing the wonderful heroic Anthony Cade ~sigh~. I hate to sound like a broken record here -- as all the old members of the AC forum can point out -- but I would love to see JJ Feild as Anthony Cade! Have you heard of him, 3rdGirl? If not, look him up and tell me what you think.
P.S. I like the name of your topic: I don't think anyone has ever dedicated a topic to Bundle before :-)I just saw the other thread so I'll chat about the book there. I've just finished 7 Dials and loved it too!
I've just done a web search on JJ Feild and I see that he was in 'Death on the Nile'. He certainly looks the part from all of the photos online, and he's British which is very important. So I'll concur with your selection there!
The other thoght that I had was Paul Bettany, from 'Master and Commander'.
We need to cast Bundle, Lord Caterham, George Lenox and Bill as well.
The only one I could think of offhand was Paul Eddington from Yes Minister as Lord Caterham. I think he could pull off that slightly batty, whimsical English Lord very well. What do you think?
Bundle and Bill are tricky!

On top of being very handsome!

I just looked him up. Is he still acting, do you know? Meaning has he done any recent productions? If so, he seems polished enough to be Lord Caterham.

For months now I have had a great idea of who would play Bill: and that's Matt Smith (he will be playing the new Doctor Who). I've seen a few of his productions and I have been a fan of his for a little while now and when I first saw him he immediately reminded me of Bill: he looks a lot like him imo.

Unfortunately Paul Eddington died some time in the 1990's. He had some type on cancer and I remember he gave a very brave interview on BBC when he was already very sick. I loved him both in the Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister and in the Good Life opposite Richard Biers, Felicity Kendall and the great Penelope Keith.
Thanks for answering, belgian.
It's very sad to hear that he is gone.
Goodness! That is very sad indeed about Paul Eddington, I do so love him on all of the Minister series.
JJ Field is very handsome indeed. I detect that you have a bit of a pash on him Bundle!
I've thought of someone who may be good as Bundle, an actress called Sally Bretton who was in the comedy Absolute Power with Stephen Fry. She certainly looks how I would imagine Bundle to look!

My friend Bundle and I are starting this thread so we can disuss The Secret of Chimneys and The Seven Dials Mystery as we have found a mutual love of these AC books.
Who would you like as Anthony Cade in a TV series Bundle?
