I really like rereading Hallowe'en Party at this time of year. But are there other Christie novels that you would recommend as the nights start to draw in?

Actually, in my country there aren't many cold days. It's pretty hot in here even in the winter sometimes.

But I have a lot of luck this week because it's going to be very rainy

so I chosed for this time of the year  to read The sittaford Mystery, it's a real classic for stormy day. Hercule Poirot Christmas and Pudding fit to a more cozy and snowy time.

My favorite AC story for autumn is "The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding" or "The Theft of the Royal Ruby". Autumn is the season for harvest, and in the Christmas Pudding / Royal Ruby story, we see all the wonderful food prepared from foodstuffs harvested in the autumn. It makes me very happy. :D

My favorite Autumn AC is The Hollow. The story is set in the fall and I can easily picture the beautiful setting AC describes, besides the fact that this is my all time favorite Poirot mystery. Since the Christmas holidays are almost upon us, another one with a Christmas theme is The Theft of the Royal Ruby. As for this one, the TV series portrays this beautifully with a lovely home decorated for Christmas and the story centered around a family's Christmas together.

I would prefer The Sittaford Mystery. It covers snowfalls, fireplaces, a hot cup of coffee n of course a murder! what else do u need for the most happening evening during this season. :)

Yes, indeed. I have just posted a separate topic for "HERCULE POIROT'S CHRISTMAS II" under - Discuss Poirot. It's an excellent murder mystery, with a unique plot. Feel certain the TV version will be screened closer to Christmas. "ENDLESS NIGHT" is another recommendation from me. Interested to see what other members suggest
