In N or M when Tommy plays Golf with Haydock one of them is 3 Up with 2 to play, what does that mean?

It means that one of them is has won three holes more than the other player and there are only two holes left to play, so there is no way the player who has won less holes (I think it was Tommy) can beat the other player.

Not sure that's particularly clear but I hope it helps!

I think it means that one of them has taken three fewer strokes than the other with two holes left to play.
