It's best to read the stories is the Osborne order to get the full effect of them.

Of the six, Unfinished Portrait, Absent in the Spring, and The Rose and the Yew Tree are really good. Giant's Bread, The Burden, and A Daughter's A Daughter are less compelling but still definitely worth reading for Christie fans.
I am going to read the MW books after I finish all of her mysteries. But my Mom has read all of them. Her favorite one is "Absent in the Spring"; she says it's a very emotionally compelling, and an overall, great book.
