Thankyou JobyElliottMartin, I live in the UK but jest haven't heard of the m done that way, I have all the books so will wait unil I have more space before I buy them but I will look at them on the site so thankyou.
WINNEBAGO - The AC graphic novels are hard-back comics, that we have here in the UK- Do you live in the USA? If you do, I didn't know that they don't have them there yet, sorry! In the UK, they were only brought out last year. The stories that are in the comics are:
Thankyou for the link JobyElliottMartin, I will look at it later, What d you mean by the AC graphic novels, I also like the Covers you mention especially the 1930s ones
WINNEBAGO - I know a website where you can look at the covers of agatha christie's books, from different publishers, through the ages and from different countries. Have a look and tell me what you think.
Have you also seen or read the the AC graphic novels. I think they are really good and well drawn.WINNEBAGO - I again agree with you, for I am trying to buy each novel separately. I really like the covers that have been designed, and for the 'Masterpiece covers'(2008-), I believe that this was a reason for buying my first AC book. As well as the masterpiece covers, I also like Fontana and Pan but most of all, I like the 1930's style covers from the 1990's. For example, the ABC murders has a green train. Which are your favourite covers and do they influence you to buy a book?
Sure thing Elliott, Just think it is possibler to buy all Agatha Christies books in a Handfull f Books but it is interesting to see the change of the Covers over the years and The Covers are so nice and also I worry that the Collectiones might be abridged and nice bits may be absent, I love talking about favourite Authors with people with similar interests to me
WINNEBAGO - I have just been looking on Amazon, at the first book that came up was a combination of short stories from Poirot, Marple, Pyne and Quin but the previous books that I have mentionned are more worth the money. I have found the complete stories of Sup Battle but as I am quite new to AC, I haven't read the stories included yet.
I also looked up Colonel Race- He was in Death on the Nile, Sparkling Cyanide, Man in the Brown Suit and Cards on the Table. I couldn't find the book on Amazon or eBay. It's just the matter of searching on other sites.
By the way, it's great to have a longer coversation with another member. I hope we can continue.
Thankyou JobyElliottMartin, Have you read 'The Complete Supt Battle? It has all 5 Books with him in, I came acrosds it while surfing the Net and found it on Amazon, As I say there is one with the stories with Colonel Race but I can't find it at the moment
What do you wish to know? The book titles or the stories within? Each book, of the three, is larger and thicker than a normal novelised Christie book.
If you wish to know about the appearance, the Agatha Christie, The Complete Short Stories of Hercule Poirot is red in colour, the Miss Marple Short Story Collection is orange in colour and the Detectives and Young adventurers edition, starring Tommy and Tuppence, Harley Quin, Parker Pyne, plus a few Poirot's and several 'christmas rarities' is purple in colour. Each book contains ' over 50 stories' and they are 'masterpieces in miniature'.
Tell me if there is anything else you wish to know.
What are they called Job Elliott Martin?
WINNEBAGO - You are correct. There are three short story collections. Firstly, there is a Hercule Poirot Collection, with over 50 stories, secondly, there is a Miss Marple collection, however, not only does it contain Miss Marple's 20 short stories, it also contains additional different mysteries. Finally, there is a Young Adventurers collection, starring Tommy and Tuppence, Parker Pyne, Mysterious Mr Quin and additional stories.
I saw on Amazon that there is a book with all Battle's Books and another of all of Race's Books and I think there isone with all Tommy and Tuppences Books so perhaps trhere is one with all Poirot's short stories

Some time ago I saw in this page the Hercule Poirot Complete Short Stories book with the orange cover and now I was thinking of buying it as I don't have all the short stories and maybe I could buy them all together instead of buying more than one book. But before I wanted to ask if anyone that has this book could answer me some things about it.First: Is it easy to handle? because I saw it was a big book, is it easy to read? Aren't the letters too small to read, I don't know.Second: Will I be loosing something that I could get from the books, for example the foreword to The Labours of Hercules? I know I'm looking at the small details but I'd like to know if you don't mind. Finally: Are the original stories which were later expanded included in the book? Or just the expanded versions? I'm talking about The Submarine Plans, Christmas Adventure, The Mystery of the Baghdad Chest and The Second Gong. Will I be getting just one of the versions (which?) or both?Thank you all and I hope someone takes the time to answer this question. If you have any other thing to add, be my guest.
