SilverTyneHi Lorac,
By bending a book, I mean bending it so it will fit in an envelope.
About your question about selling your thick books; I really don't know of what value they are.
Best wishes, Ralf
loracI have about 23 hard cover Agatha Christie books, circa 1960. Two stories per book. Pristene condition and I am interested in selling them. What is the value I should put on them?
Thank you...

And what did you mean by suggesting someone could 'bend' a thick book?

iadamsDear Imogen, Thanks for your reply! I collecting books AND memorabilia (e.g. posters, dvd's etc.), so everything will be more than welcome, but I'm focussing on books. I'm looking forward to Tom's answer. Best wishes, Ralf
iadamsHi Ralf,
Great work! I've just 'liked' your FB page, this is Dad's new one if want to have a look: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tom-Adams/194322723971889?sk=wall - like it too please!!!
I'm not sure how much help I can be with books, but I'm certain Tom has at least a few editions, so I'll ask him if he could help and get back to you.
I will certainly spread the word about your new mission to build the largest Christie library in the world - fantastic stuff! If you decide to inlcuded posters or prints in your collections, just let me know, I'm sure we can help eachother out.
Will be in touch, good luck!

carinalgHi, Thanks a lot for checking your duplicates. I would like to add some Norwegian books to the library.
Thanks again! Best wishes, Ralf
I think I have a duplicate of one of the books in Norwegian. Will check next time I'm home!
VirginiaRoseHi Virginia,
Thanks for your reply!
You may visit the library, due it is situated in The Netherlands. Before the end of 2012 a website will be launched, so everyone can see which books are already in. Including the names of the donators.
I hope you will add something to the library!
Regards,
Ralf
I received your e-mail re: your goal to build the Queen of Crime library. Good idea! What are your plans for the library? Will it be available to the public? I will go through my books and determine if I can part with one to donate to your library. Good luck!

shanaHallo Shana,
Frankrijk, Duitsland, Polen, Slowakije, Indonesie, Spanje, Portugal, Servie etc. etc.) regelmatig hun nieuwste publicaties.
Groeten,
Ralf

Heb ook Engelstalige publicaties. Ik check welke dubbele ik heb. Wat is de bedoeling verder van deze hard copy bieb?

lfellixThanks for your reply! If you want to donate a (thick) book, maybe you can send in after bending it?
Hello,
I received your message. You're right, I am an adictee since I was 15. By then, I could begin my own library in Portuguese, the only one available. I have the complete collection, and now that I can buy pocket books in English, I prefer them, because it's my preferred language and also because of the size. I could swap, but how? I guess it's not easy to mail them, each one has 2 books, so it's heavy
Hi!
Wow you have quite a vision! And a library I can only dream of!
I wish I could help, but I lost all my books a few weeks ago in one of the fires that have been eating up Texas. I'm afraid the best I can give is my applause!
Good luck!

I wish I could help but all my books are ebooks. I wish you all the best of luck. I also think this is a wonderful ideal. I hope you will not keep them all to your self tho..
Please keep me poisted & tell me how you are doing. I would like to see your collection.

Agatha Christie's Queen of Crime Library
I read my first 'Christie' on a French campsite when I was 11 years old. In the last 15 years I build up a large collection of Agatha Christie books and memorabilia, related to the Queen of Crime. At the moment, I own over 5,300 books > 57 languages.
Because I want to build the world's largest physical Agatha Christie library, I set up a special Facebookpage: www.facebook.com/QueenOfCrime. I also launched www.queenofcrime.com, the website (mainly in Dutch, but you can translate the texts on it in almost every language by pushing the TRANSLATE THIS WEBSITE button) about my collection.
I'm looking for fellow Agatha Christie devotees the globe over, who want to help me building the Queen of Crime Library further by sending me some (spare?) Agatha Christie books as published in their home country (swapping possible).
Thanks!
