I always find it funny in AC books that husbands and wives always seem to have seperate bedrooms.
Was this an English tradition in the old days, or was it only for the rich people living in huge manoirs and mansions?
In The Hollow, Lucy's husband even LOCKED his bedroom door because he didnt want his wife to disturb him in the morning.
Even honeymooners have seperate bedrooms!!
