The Agatha Christie Collection

Can anyone please advise me if this book and magazine series is worth getting - are the books of good quality?

I have noted recent ebay collections you can pick up for circa £1 a copy - also can someone comment on how many editions were produced as one recent listing claims to be complete at 77 books but another lists 85 magazines.

Many thanks for your views!

The collection I have is called 'the agatha christie collection' published by planet three publishing. They are no longer sold or available from the publisher hence the last books being rare. I am still missing a few as I ended my subscription before the last ten were printed having been told there would be much more to follow, and it was getting a bit to expensive overall. Kicking myself in now I realise I was near to completing the collection. Keep an eye out on eBay as they come up every so often.

Hope this helps.

I know you asked your question quite some time ago, but I was wondering whether you meant the paperback/magazine collection or the hardback? I have the hardback version which includes a total of 85 books and magazines.

The last 10 are really quite rare, but I am selling 75 of the magazines in their folders and the equivalent books are quite easy to get hold of on ebay.

Sorry if this is no longer  relevant to you.

Thanks for reply - I do mean the TV advertised collection! Does anyone per chance have a list of all the editions published - or tell me the last seven editions to 85 - I presume  these are no longer available from publisher?

If you are Talking about the Collection Advertised on ITV a few years ago I collected them and it meant I could get rid of the Paperbacks I had, I enjoy looking through the Magazines and the Books feel nice, the Collection includes the Plays, Autobiography and the Romantic Fiction under the Name Mary Westmacott, I was shocked to find the collection included 'The Mousetrap'. for me there are 2 downsides of the Collection.

1. The Covers of the Paperbacks of some of the Paperbacks I had were nicer and

2. I do like reading the Blurb (or Synopsis) on the back cover and the books didn't have them but I get round that by looking up thje books on Amazon but all in all I like having the Collection.
