Your favorite ending

The impression on a book is based on various aspects such as characters, the plot, and setting.  How the author brings the story into the very end is also one of the important elements to form the readers impressions.  And I would like to know  which of the AC books you think have good, clever, or impressive endings. What's your favorite ending? Try to give reasons!

Me:  Cards on the Table  I love the conclusion that the one who is honest can only remains as he is. The ABC Murders  I love the critical end. Poirot does not settle for the result of the "murder" presenting himself.

I agree with you Matillies. Murder of Roger Ackroyd was so amazing! I never guessed that it was the story teller! Christie just surprises me every time...well, almost.

I thought that the ending of Murder on the Orient Express was really imaginative. Only Agatha Christie can come up with a complicated plot where everyone committed the murder yet no-one did. I have been reading it for years and I still have no idea how he solved it.

Also, the ending of Death on the Nile was put in a way that it is blindly obvious yet you never see it coming. The more I read it, the more I think, how did I not figure it out?

The Murder of Roger Akroyd was, quite frankly, teriffic. Who would have guessed it was the Doctor who was telling the story. Then again, it's always the doctor, or the butler.
