Is Clue 1 the picture of a man or was that part of clue 6? (When I say a picture of a man I mean the man that you see on Toilet doors in restaurants)
HeiseiHolmes33rd book? Maybe? Ahahah, I'm just making stuff up. That message you saw, was that the second clue?
Hey....The murderer maybe from the 33rd book? You think that's weird but actually, it's a pretty good idea. Which is the 33rd book though......From The Moving Finger? Huh? That would make it someone like: Mr . Symmington? Though I still like my The ABC Murders theory.
Heisei!!!! What, so it's a cat, is it? But that doesn't make sense? How does a cat kill someone. Maybe it could dig it's claws into your chest, but can a cat have that sort of mind, able to have angry feelings for a human? Your point, Heisei (Even though I know your dead, this is directed at you), about Angelika Blue Trusting a cat is good, but it makes no sense to me. It's probably a human with a cat? The man with the inky cat....Inky, because there was a paw print on Heisei's head. So, Franklin Cust and the inky cat? Hastings and the inky cat? Hell, Poirot and the Inky cat? I know that will never happen, but the other two are possible.
I've actually got a clear idea of who it is, now. Now, I shall say no more unless you want me to. My source of the idea is from The Alphebetical Order - ABC. Search it up, Agatha Christie - ABC.
I know who.
ten must mean the book "and then there were none " maybe i am right? can someone explain me exactly the tules
I think there is something wrong i have some doubts but there is somehting wrong with the person " ilovewalruses2" it could may be the murderer. ho also i found one more clue and i want to discuss it someone whom i can trust . !
agatha_911 was murdered before she could DIAL for help. What telephone number do yo dial for help, uh?
If any goes to check the time line notice that it starts with 1890 and there are three events happened, and 1901 there are two events maybe that what 91 means in beatriz name
The 9 is from 1890 and the 1 is from 1901
It could mean some thing
Well folks, I had a fun time coming up with theories however the weekend is over. I am starting to think that there is no second clue yet. Hopefully we get some clarification soon.
Take care everyone.
He must be hiding! ahh! :((((
Moderator where art thou? We need you!!!
I tried movies and games too but in vain...
I looked through all of the deck chairs and bags just in case- still nothing. I don't think the clue would be in the books again but I'm running out of ideas.

If it only appeared during 9 past 1 that would sort of be impossible to find, because you'd have to be there at that specific time which might be inconvenient for people and people might have thier clocks a minute or two off which would eliminate thier chances of finding it, plus of the different time zones. But maybe you're right on moderator2 spying on us from a different account. Hmmmm.......Maybe you are? Jk, lol.
Maybe Moderator 2 has been murdered? Or maybe Moderator 2 has assume a new identity and is watching us from afar . . .
I have checked all the dates on the agatha christie timeline and there is nothing there. Maybe the 1 and 9 refer to a time, maybe you can only find the 2nd clue at 10 past 9 or 9 past 1?
Agathasmykid
tudes1919 was the year thar her daughter, Rosalind, was born.
Tudes, this was a great thought on your part, thanks for sharing. I took your idea and added some more theories to the ones I already stated;
Theory; 1'91'9 refers to Agatha's daughter Rosalind
Possible connections;
-Check the Agatha Christie timeline on this website and read the description that comes with Rosalind's birth, I didn't find anything that seems to be a clue
-When I think about Rosalind, I thought about 'Curtain,' I do believe that is the book she wrote specifically for her daughter. However looking up Curtain I couldn't find anything that looked like a clue.
Not sure what else relates to Rosalind on this website, however if anyone thinks of anything please let us know.
I have already checked, just like you. I also checked Christie´s decades and nothing, I think.
Where is Moderator2?! He should pay more attention to this site! We're paying attention to this site more than him/her.

NoOoleAnyone noticed the words that appearing on the top (bags, deckchairs).
I don't know if they were there before the murder start.
I can tell you that they were at least on there when this whole thing started, I never noticed them before.
ilovewalruses2@Gilatar: I checked every story in that book! Still nothing. :( This is so impossible
Yes, it would help a lot if a moderator came on and informed us if the second clue actually exists or not.
I don't know. I also thought the same. Maybe the clue is in the Shop section where there are deckchairs and bags.
The cover of "Death in the Clouds" looks a lot like a bee but I haven't read the novel so you can understand my confusion. Looking at the cover one may think it is a bee because it is very similar to a wasp.
Anyone noticed the words that appearing on the top (bags, deckchairs).
I don't know if they were there before the murder start.
Any books related to Agatha Christie's ddaughter? Rosalind Hicks, was that her name?
@Gilatar: I checked every story in that book! Still nothing. :( This is so impossible
In 1991 the book Problem at Pollensa Bay and Other Stories was released, maybe that's a clue ?
na_wellThe first part of beatriz sounds like bee. The new cover of Death in the clouds, right?
Sorry to disappoint some people, but in "Death in the Clouds" it was always a wasp, not a bee.
yeah, on 1st september (9/1).
1919 was the year thar her daughter, Rosalind, was born.
Oh, everybody's thinking the same way as me! I'm not entirely hopeless then! LOL!
or the year 1919 or something? maybe a film in 1991?
91? Could mean a year? as in 1991 or another year?
Wow, this is a tough one. LIke others have said, it would be nice if a moderator or someone could confirm the existance of the second clue for sure.
I think I am going to take a couple of hours off and come back with a clear head. Good luck everyone. Keep those theories coming!
ThraciasIf the number 91 doesn't mean a book, then it could be a film? special event that happened in her life? anything else it could be?
A good idea, but I can't think of any connection.
But if 91 means a year. It couldn't be something from Christie's life. She was 1 year old in 1891 and in 1991 she had already passed away. Maybe the year of release of a film adaptation.
If the number 91 doesn't mean a book, then it could be a film? special event that happened in her life? anything else it could be?
It may not be a book since it said that the murderer has changed its tactics.
I think the number is important. It is the only victim with a number on the username so I guess that means something.
I think the names are made up. No one has found forum activity from the victims yet. I don't know though.
tudesNo, we don´t know. And if the killer changed his tatics as the post said? And if the clue doesn´t have any relation to the name Beatriz91?
Tudes you make a great point, maybe that is the website's way of saying don't look for the obvious and wait for the next death?
The people who died. Angelika_Blue, Biancaquan, Cracker_jack and Beatriz91. Were they part of the Agatha Christie community just like us or someone Moderator2 made up?
javimoore
AgathasmykidOkay, here are some theories I have so far in terms of
Theory 1 - Beatriz91 is somehow linked to 'And Then There Were None."
Reason; 9+1=10, Ten Little Indians, and one was stung by a Bee
Besides, there is a victim named Beatrice in "And then there were none"
Great point, there is such potentiel for the second clue to be linked to And Then There Were None, that I feel the clue would have to be somewhere there! But I have checked it several times and have found nothing.
Great theories! The first part of beatriz sounds like bee. The new cover of Death in the clouds, right?
I hope someone confirms that the 2nd clue is still around. I am worried that if this doesn't happen some of us may go on a murder spree of their own. hehe. Just joking
Beatrice can mean a number of things but there's also number 91. That should limit it down to a book or something? But which one? Does it have to be a book?

No, we don´t know. And if the killer changed his tatics as the post said? And if the clue doesn´t have any relation to the name Beatriz91?
The name Beatrice is also mentioned in Postern of fate.
I looked all these books and nothing!
I'm almost sure this is usless, as all my other ideas were, but the victims from the clues' usernames had the user real name: Angelika, Bianca, Jack and Beatriz, but we don't know the real names of those who were murdered for knowing too much, do we?
Beatriz91 = Be at riz 91
Maybe?
Thx for helping by sharing your theories, thank you!

Okay, here are some theories I have so far in terms of trying to find the second clue (If it exists that is). I am hoping people will contribute their own ideas.
****Please note that so far I have only been working from the Beatriz91 death and have not yet looked for links between her death and the death of the others
Theory 1 - Beatriz91 is somehow linked to 'And Then There Were None."
Reason; 9+1=10, Ten Little Indians, and one was stung by a Bee
Theory 2 - Beatriz91 is somehow linked to 'Death in the Clouds.'
Reason; Poirot sits in seat 9, and it is thought that a Bee may have killed somebody
Theory 3- Beatriz may indicated the name Beatrice, and may be linked to stories with a character by the name of Beatrice, Including 'The Affair of the Pink Pearl', and/or 'The Voice in the Dark.'
Theory 4 - 91 may mean 9+1=10, or 9-1=8. There has been some debate so far what Agatha's 8th and 10th books are, but which ever they are that is where the clue maybe
Okay, so these have been mine, do any of you have any other theories?
But two are dead! And nobody knows if the second clue still there. I looked everywhere and I found nothing. I don´t know what to think.
hmmm.... I don't think so... but there's something weird going on...
It could be possible that the three of them are lying?
How can we be sure that no one else has found the clue?
I don't know! Arghhhhh I'm stuck!
Javi
I'm gonna go crazy if someone doesn't confirm that here is a second clue.
This is getting crazy!
exactly... why he is not informing uss???
*sigh* I can't find it......Shouldn't moderator2 come on here at least like twice a day?maybe more?
yes i know unfortunatelly. at least he could inform us ...
Thebutlerdidit isn't online anymore.
somebody have to inform us if there is really a second cluee.... somebody who has found the clue or moderator 2 .....
I've hit a stump.
dont know;);) do you have a theory about this 2nd clue??... i have some but i ended up with nothing:(....
Good idea. Why didn't I think of that?
yes Butler please tell us if there is certainly a 2nd clue... and if it is obvious like the 1st one or you have to concentrate to the names to find it and if it is still there.... thank you;)
hehe. I have been looking for the 2nd clue for a long time and I can't find it. Butler, can you confirm the 2nd clue is still where it should be? Can you go back and look for it and then tell us if it is still there?
Yes two are dead only little old me left.....
That's very very....not good.
i still cant think where this clue is hidden...:( i have looked everywhere and still nothing...
tudesIt´s so weird that only three have found the second clue!
And two of them are dead....
It´s so weird that only three have found the second clue!
I know!! This one is haaaard!
And I don't think it is hidden in the books section... but if it's not there... where is ittt!!!??
The more I think about this, the more stuck I keep getting.....
AgathasmykidAssuming the second clue is still on here somewhere, I will work on a list of theories people have come up with, and people can tell me if I am missing anything. I hope to post that later today.
Awesome idea... let me know if you need some help...
Assuming the second clue is still on here somewhere, I will work on a list of theories people have come up with, and people can tell me if I am missing anything. I hope to post that later today.
We can not tell you that.
-as to where clue 1 is
can someone please give me a little clever hint? does it have to do with the victims names? or 'right under our noses...?' i'm so confused!
Sorry, we can't tell you that.
what was clue no.1?
I am definetely stuck now.......
I didn't think it would be hidden under books, but I have checked them. i could have missed it, but I was careful.
I don't know if it will help, but on the grave stone it say R.I.P.
BEATRIZ
91
The number 91 is directly under AT.
Maybe it isn't on the book section?
In The Secret Adversary it is mentioned The Ritz. I haven't read the novel yet so i do not know in what circumstances it is mentioned...but I've searched for the 2nd clue at the novels page and didn't find anything...if 91 represents a time (as marcia96 said); maybe the time when one can find the clue there??? i don't know... just a tought
...
TheButlerDidITYES!
I am on a roll! Found the first clue easy when I actually looked hard enough. And then I found the second one which was much harder to find. I can't give clues though. I am so pleased with myself!
He seemed to have found it yesterday (14th May)! And he wasn't killed yet!
I thought Butler said he found the 1st clue? I really think that the 2nd one has gone now, Ive checked all the pages.
Good job MissQuin, I was about to ask the question too. So wait until then? Or continue to look for the elusive second clue? Has it gone missing? TheButlerDidIt has found it though...
Thursday or friday most likely, as I checked the dates of the other murders.
When will there be another murder does anyone think? My guess is that it will be today or tomorrow, as so far they seem to have occured every 3 or 4 days... I'll keep trying to find the second clue until then but I'm pretty sure i won't be able to make any more progress until we get more information
I think 2 or 3 had found the 2nd clue.
This is so not working for me
How many people have found the second clue?
There's At Bertram's Hotel but no clue there... What I am worried is there won't be another murder and then we won't find the second clue...
MissQuin gasp! robreid, your not supposed to post the clues on here! It makes it too easy for those who haven't actually looked for it. Also some people spent over 20 hrs looking, so theyve not had an easy time
Well Miss Quin this forum is actually for people who have found the first clue, otherwise they are just ruining the game for themselves, if they don't want to find out what the first clue is I advise them to stay clear of this forum.
maybe but it could also mean beatrice= be at ritz 91 as Thracias said. and 91 it could be the time lets say 9:01 or it could be the number of the hotel i dont quite know because i cant remember any of AC book's that are mentioning The ritz hotel although she has book mentioning Hotels....
What travel books?
Could the numbers be there to put us off?
I don't know, but maybe the clue was under one of the travel books, but it's not been removed, it was a ruse.
91-19=72
72nd book??? i doubt it though
well maybe but lets say that beatriz 91 is a voyager how could that give us a clue about the 2nd clue??....
I think the beatriz is voyager and 91....I don't know!
ohhhh i didnt know that ... hmm that could mean something but is there a book that AC wrote that she is mentioning The Ritz hotel in it?....
Closest thing to "riz" might be "The Ritz", a famous London Hotel.
i thought just the same thing over 3 days Thracias ... i searched about it but found nothing... what does riz mean? is it an address?
i did the same thing also but found nothing ....
Well, in my opinion the main clue to find the second clue is travelling.
The name "Beatrice" means "voyager" or "traveller". Under her gravestone we see "Bon voyage beatriz91..."
A little too much coincidence for my taste.
The expression "Bon voyage" is mainly used for travelling by ship.
I've checked all the stories I know to contain a trip by ship, but couldn't find anything so far.
noo i dont know i hope he will come back soon to inform us about this 2nd clue.. but keep your eyes open to the online people maybe he is online now... who knows.....!!!
Anyone know when Moderator2 will comeback?
Maybe, but I think some sneaky people will read this rather than go and hunt for it. Shame on them!

I thought we were allowed though? Because this thread is only for first clue finders only?
gasp! robreid, your not supposed to post the clues on here! It makes it too easy for those who haven't actually looked for it. Also some people spent over 20 hrs looking, so theyve not had an easy time
Moderator 2 would fit in with what the first clue said " A Person in a position of trust"
It might have been deleted again as soon as two people have been murdered, the way a murderer hides eir bait as soon as victims have been found. On the other hand, it might be that we are simply not keen enough.
heh thats possible;)....
ThraciasMaybe Moderator2 is the murderer?
Well that is an invitation for murder! Ive spent ages to, but I'll search no more until the mod2 confirm it's still here. I will have to hold off doing my Irish jig, sorry everyone!
Maybe Moderator2 is the murderer?
heh yes i know i also spent 2 hours searching for it ... but 3 people found the clue.... how is that possible that they found it and for us its not available(lets say)....???
Interesting. My, I do have a lot to catch up with!
So I spent three whole hours looking for the clue and only now I find out that it hasnt even been confirmed.........*sobs*
no he didnt confirm that there is a 2nd clue.... yes your right Miss Quin we need a confirmation that there is a 2nd clue...
yes we need a confimation that the second clue is there, or that the page the second clue is on is working.
What?! Moderator2 hasn't confirmed that there was a second clue?!
hmm thats possible... but i know a person that found the 2nd clue and as i know he is yet not dead.... moderator 2 has to inform us if there is really a 2nd clue....
M_Hercule_Poirot and HH are still on here, so they don't need new accounts. I'm sure that would be cheating if they did.
I'm going to wait til monday to resume my search for the cecond clue, as Ive searched just about every page and can't find it. I wonder if the 2nd clue was just a red herring? A way of luring users onto the page so the killer could get them?
i did just what you said... i found something about the names but i ended up with nothing:( .....
Maybe we have to sort of combine the first one and the second clue to find the seond clue?
Angelika_blue
Biancaquan
Cracker_jack
Beatriz91
What would stop m hercule poirot and HH from just creating a new account?
student_dylanAnd I'm beginning to think that M_Hercule_Poirot2 and Heisel were taken out of the game because maybe the moderator thought they were discussing the second clue they found too openly. Could the moderator confirm this? And is it ok to announce you found the clue but not to discuss it anymore than that until a new thread opens?
No I was there when the 2nd clue was put up, they weren't dicussing it. They were just killed for finding it!
Ive searched every page on this website and I havent found the clue. I suspect that it's not there and has been taken off, or that theres an error on the page.
I feel like I am in the same boat. I have tried everything I can think of and still nothing. Any sort of help would be much appreciated, even if the moderator can confirm it is on the website.
student_dylanI really wonder if the next clue is going to be as straight forward to solve as the first one. It might be really tricky to solve. Do we all think that it will direct us to a particular page on the website? And will 'mystery man/murderer was here' link be used again or will we need to be watching out for something else? I've had no luck solving this second clue so far!
Same here! I think Ive been through almost all the stories (even non-fictional) but still no clue!
;( those who have found the clue plz just tell us if it is obvious or we have to concentrate to the names to find it....:(
Marcia96dont think so..;) i can't find the 2nd cluee yet...:(
Ugh me either -_-
i dont know maybe not.. moderator2 has to inform uss..... 3 people found the 2nd clue.... so i think that there is one..
Marcia96dont think so..;) i can't find the 2nd cluee yet...:(
Me neither! I have tried everything I can think of...are we even sure they have put it on the website yet?
i dont know... i have some theories but i always end up with nothing:(....
Still there for me! Hmm... Why is the second clue so HARD to find???
dont think so..;) i can't find the 2nd cluee yet...:(
Thanks Marcia, and ILove, much appreciated. That is weird that it does not come up for me.
Ps. Weirdest thing, after looking for the clue several times today, it is now back on there.....I hope that has nothign to do with this mystery!
for me its still there...:S why its not still there for you guys?...
I can still see the first clue.
Unfortunately I cannot answer your second question :(
AgathasmykidTwo questions I would like help with;
1. I went back to reread the first clue and I don't see it there anymore, is this happening to others?
2. For those who have found the second clue, ccould you go back and check that it is still there?
Thanks so much!
i just went to the A.B.C murders page and it is still there the 1st clue...

Oh this is frustrating -_-
I had no problem finding the first clue, but this one is proving to be more difficult.

After I analized the victims name I got to a conclusion. I'm almost sure it's wrong but at least I tried. Angelika Bianca and Jack have all "ka" "ca" or "ac".
I told you it was stupid
Notice that on the top part where Agatha, Poirot, Miss Marple are on there, it sometimes says, bags and deckchairs?
Voyager 91. deckchair and bags???
I have been on this for 7 hours and not a single step colser to the second goal! Argh!
Whats a voyager? Every time I look it up on wiki it says that they are space crafts?
Maybe a story with a voyage on it.
If you invert 91 you get 19. 19th book is Cards on the table I think.
I don't know if any of these is useful.
Beatriz means voyager(through life)
9+1=10 10th book is murder in the vicarge
9-1=8 8th book is mystery of the blue train
91......Any ideas?
No luck for me yet either. I have tried twice today, and once last night. I keep going back to And Then There Were None, but I can't find anything there. I will be moving on to other stories now.
I found the FIRST clue. It wasn't as hard as it seemed at first.
As someone mentioned in this post, they added the dot I noticed was missing in the headstone for the cracker_jack murder. I don't think it means anything though. It must have been just a typo.
Now I'm looking for the second clue. So sad to people from the community have been murdered!
Beatriz91 might mean beatrice91 but then I dont know what 91 means?
I am frustrated, can't find the second clue.
I come up with crazy yet realistic somehow but none of them led me to the clue
يا الله
Anyone got any ideas????
Still haven't figured out what 91 means?
I think there´s a Beatrice in Partners in Crime.
There's also a Beatrice in The Affair of the Pink Pearl
So this murder might be based on ABC Murders?
Dont think so. I think it would be unlikely for Agatha Christie to use the same name twice.
Yes i just noticed that Beatrice is in And Then There Were None. Any more Beatrices, Thracias?
TheButlerDidITMaybe that one murder is motivated the others and to confuse us?
The second clues helps nicely....
Like in the book 'The ABC murders'? Do you mean that only one of our four murder victims was murdered for a motive and the other three to disguise that fact? And that the second clue makes us aware of this - and also identifies which victim is the real target?
Beatrice is in And then there were none. She is a victim.
Maybe that one murder is motivated the others and to confuse us?
The second clues helps nicely....
Im trying to find Beatrice in the books right now
ThraciasAlso, in the paragraph about beatriz dieing, it says the mystery man might be changing tactics, only time will tell.
yes, I wonder if they're telling us that he definitely has changed tactics? Do you think it's significant that this is the second victim whose name begins with 'B'? Also, I can't think of any Beatrices in any of the books, have you had any luck with that yet?
I would say but I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone (even though it wasn't fun for me it took me ages!). Sorry!
Well done TheButlerDidiT, congratulation! So it's much harder to find. Hmmm...
And I'm beginning to think that M_Hercule_Poirot2 and Heisel were taken out of the game because maybe the moderator thought they were discussing the second clue they found too openly. Could the moderator confirm this? And is it ok to announce you found the clue but not to discuss it anymore than that until a new thread opens?
Well done TheButlerDidiT, congratulation! So it's much harder to find. Hmmm...Can you tell us if you happened upon it by accident or if you solved the clue 'Beatriz_91' Does that mean that 'Beatriz_91' contain everything we need to know to locate clue 2?
Or maybe you've been told TO SAY NOTHING AT ALL! But if that's the case can you confirm that?
Then that could mean that Beatrice is a Character in one of the books, and if we track that book down it might be the one we're looking for?
Thraciasone tiny hint? please?
Sorry! I hope I don't get killed now coz that would be very very erm....not good.
ThraciasWhat could Beatriz mean?
I'm sure it's Beatrice. I wonder if it's significent that it's spelt with a 'z' instead. And does that make the 'z' important or the 'ce'? Angelika_blue was also spelt differently, 'K' instead of 'c'. It'll be interesting to see if this is a pattern that continues with the next victim's name.
one tiny hint? please?
YES!
I am on a roll! Found the first clue easy when I actually looked hard enough. And then I found the second one which was much harder to find. I can't give clues though. I am so pleased with myself!
So........If I have found the second clue, you can't even say that you have found it.
Also, in the paragraph about beatriz dieing, it says the mystery man might be changing tactics, only time will tell.
When Cracker_Jack died, underneath it, it said farewell, but when Beatriz died, it said Bon voyage which means Good Journey(French). So I'm thinking it has something to do with Poirot since he speaks french
GKCfan
student_dylanDoes anybody know why HeiselHolmes and M_Hercule_Poirot2 were murdered? Were they murdered because they guessed the solution to the whole mystery? Or did they break the rules of the game somehow and were disqualified? Or were they murdered but are still in the game but given special roles to play? I find it curious! I think it's cruel if they were just randomly murdered and can't play anymore
The link between HeiselHolmes and M_Hercule_Poirot2 is that they found the second clue... and announced that they did.
So are you suggesting that if we do find the second clue we should shut up about it? ;) Maybe others have found it but don't want to say anything for fear of being killed off.
Okay, so besides the And Then There Were None, theory, does anyone have any other theories?
Did they say where they found it then someone deleted or banned them and also deleted their comments? And do you think that that person deleted where the link to the second clue because they gave it away?

I think I'm lonely now.........there's no one here.........
Rosiland Hicks was her daughter so I thought of Hickory Dickory Dock but sadly, no results were found.
What could Beatriz mean?
ThraciasYou know the other detective like Tommy and Tuppence, do they only appear once?
there are 5 T+T books I think
Intelligent only because i've spent all afternoon thinking of things! It took me hours to solve the first clue (and really it was so easy...) I felt so frustrated when everybody else was getting it. I couldn't understand why I couldn't work it out lol! but I think i'm completely stuck on this one until we get more information
You know the other detective like Tommy and Tuppence, do they only appear once?
I've been wondering about that too. You seem way more intelligent than me. You've come with loads of ideas and found out many things.
Does anybody know why HeiselHolmes and M_Hercule_Poirot2 were murdered? Were they murdered because they guessed the solution to the whole mystery? Or did they break the rules of the game somehow and were disqualified? Or were they murdered but are still in the game but given special roles to play? I find it curious! I think it's cruel if they were just randomly murdered and can't play anymore
You're not dumb Thracias! I thought that the clue might be in the shop part of the website on the page that sold a book bag with 'And Then There Were None' on it (i'd seen previously some of the book bags for sale there - they're cool and old school!). I thought that if there were two more murder victims their names w might begin with A and G, giving us B(ianca).A.G, and that the '91' added together referred to the 10 little indians! Imagine my upset when there was no bag with that novel's title for purchase in the shop! More Hastings than Poirot!
I'm gonna have a look around on wiki for the chronological orders of her books like you mentioned. Maybe, just maybe I can limit down the number of books I have to find.
Guess you were right all of them were published in 1900.
I spent the last three hours thinking about the clue (not lying); I have made a mind map for anything that leads to the clue from the meaning of the name and its origin to the stories that are related somehow to the name
I have to take a time off to refresh my mind.
Good job for everyone who found the clue
ThraciasAre the clues only in the books part or all over the website
Who knows, I'm sure they're going to be sneakier and sneakier about it to trip us up. Or I suppose i mean that the murderer is going to do his best to avoid detection!
I was dumb enough to look for the first clue on the shop part instead of the other place where you find the first clue lol
I really wonder if the next clue is going to be as straight forward to solve as the first one. It might be really tricky to solve. Do we all think that it will direct us to a particular page on the website? And will 'mystery man/murderer was here' link be used again or will we need to be watching out for something else? I've had no luck solving this second clue so far!
Are the clues only in the books part or all over the website
Just a coincedence I guess.
And it may not be the publication date of a book that the date refers to, it could be the year she debuted one of her plays or one of the films was released.
I actually did some more detective work because I thought maybe the date (if it's going to be a date) might refer to AC herself, but the only thing I could come up with is that her daughter was born 91 years ago, though that's probably just a coincidence because there's no sign that the murderer has been on the page for the novel 'A Daughter's a Daughter'.
Is page 91 special in any of the books?
Good idea Dylan!
If this follows the first sequence of murders there will be three murders (although who's to say that it will?!). It's hard to know from only 1/3 of the clue, but what if '91' is the beginning of a date of publication? The 91 can be rearranged as 19, and as we know all AC books were published in the 1900s. It's the only/likliest solution I can think of at the moment - and of course it means we'll have to wait for another murder/clue to specify the actual year! they do say patience is a virtue but i've never been very patient. I want another murder!
91 could be the total number of books that AC wrote (in uk)
69 novels (including Black Coffee, Spider's Web and Unexpected Guest) 6 romance novels, 14 short story collections and 2 nonfiction works. That's if my counting is right! However, I don't know how that would help.
Has anyone found the second clue yet?
Maybe the numbers 19 if you switched them around or I'm thinking too far off track
No, I meant the first clue. Can I say where the first clue is on here? No?
i tried that also but nothing:( by the way Thracias did you find the 2nd clue?? because in the previous topic you said you found it .....
What about 9-1=8? Any stories with 8 things?
they said that there are 2 clues ... but i cant find the second oneeee:(.....
yes your right:) i checked it also but still i didnt find anything about it. when you said about the bee stung i remembered the book called Death at the clouds, where the victim died they thought by a stung of a bee but when i went to the page of that book in the AC website i didnt find anything....:(
Number 91?Hmmmmmm..........
How many clues are there now? I've found 1.
So far the only place I have really looked is in the And Then There Were None sections. As others have said, 9+1 = 10. And in the Ten Little Indian's Rhyme, one is stung by a bee if memory serves correct.
BEAtriz91 I thought referred to And Then There Were None, but I have had no luck finding anything yet.
i still can't find the 2nd clue.. but they said there is a 2nd cluee.....
I think so but still no clue to it's whereabouts!
@MissQuin: Would love to see the jig! Then we will know you found it!
So does that mean we are sure there is a second clue...?
If I find it, I'll do an Irish jig!
Yes, too young indeed. And I haven't found the second clue either, although at this point, to say that one has might be rather unwise...
At 16 HH was too young to die! Yes, Harley you can pass messages on from the other side. Might give me some comfort!
I still havent found the 2nd clue
Dear me, Shinichi, you are killed? There now, Miss Quin, it seems I am psychopomp after all...
Ahem. Don't worry, Shinichi, Heiji will be there to back you up!
But it won't help the rest much if we can't discuss the second clue together is it not? Probably message one another and discuss it secretly? It's just a suggestion. Quite morbid for m_hercule_poirot_2 and HeiseiHolmes to be murdered once they found the second clue!
Wow, you take a few days off, and all of a sudden the game starts moving fast. Is there a second clue? I hope if someone finds it they let us know. Based on the first clue I too have a theory on who this mystery man mabe, however it is so early in the game. My guess is that there must be a pattern with the current people "killed" off like there was with the last group, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
*Sigh* I guess I will just have to keep looking. This fourth murder doesn't seem to have anything in common with the first three, so yeah, I guess we will just have to wait. And maybe keep our mouths shut when we find it
I think there's a second clue (those who found them were murdered!
) but I can't find it either... It's not as straight forward as the first one... What we can do is to wait for the next murder... Anyone else has any ideas?
Ahh! So is there actually a second clue? Has anyone found it? And someone mentioned earlier about the rest in peace headstone, and they are right! For cracker_jack it said R.I.P and now it says R.I.P.
It's the mysterious Mr. Quinn
I 've got idea ,but I need more time to think about the case. I've read all the clue's as well ,and have only an guess about the clues that giving me.
OK, it's better if I go to bed... Hopefully I'll have a dream about it that will tell me the solution...
The 2nd clue is: Beatriz91
Is the second clue hidden like the first?
I am hitting my head against the wall! TMI TMI!
I guess it doesn't help that I just woke up and haven't had any coffee -_-
Hopefully... So, let's pretend that we know everything...
I believe in the after life of the forum LOL
If we get killed... would the killer tell us where the first clue was?
Me too. Although, we may say something that is in relation with the clues, and we don't even know about it - and we'll be brutally and callously murdered. And then we'll never know the truth! Just in case if there's some kind of after life...
Then, I'm safe LOL LOL
Me neither! Although, if we know nothing, we're safe...
I don't want to get killed!!! LOL
Check your email.
So, what are your theories, Jav? (I mean what we can talk about here).
chris_14How can I send you message, Jav? (I'm a registered member on this forum for ages, but I'm actively here since yesterday!)
Click on my profile and send me a message =)
Thank you, Jav!
How can I send you message, Jav? (I'm a registered member on this forum for ages, but I'm actively here since yesterday!)
That was cool!!!!
BTW we are the only ones online LOL
Stupid cluuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! ****Hits her head with the window****
I found nothing, I have no clue;
Despite I'm sober, not out of the blue.
Who is Cracker Jack?
Hey Ghosts, please come back!
One thing's for sure: blue rhymes with clue.
(Hopefully the poetry is allowed here!)
I haven't found any of the clues.... this is driving me crazy... and everybody says is so easy!! I don't think so!!
You can send me a msg if you want to.
@Javimoore did you find any of the clues? I haven't found any of them yet!
I've found something, but that would be more complicated - I mean, everybody who found the clues, said it was easy. It wouldn't be as easy, but definitely fits.
@Javimoore Yeah, we may need one!
@chris_14 Let's put all our little gray cells in action together!
Do we need a Ouija board to get a Hint?
91... a page of a book?
Ghost are haunting here... Is against the rules if the ghosts give us hints... you know, just telepathically, or during a seance?
Ghost are haunting here... Is against the rules if the ghosts gives us hints... you know, just telepathically, or during a seance?
Hm, interesting. It says bon voyage beatriz91, i don't know...
the name beatriz means voyager but hows that a clue?
We need some serious brainstorming to do. Its really hard to find 2nd clue.
Beatriz91, what could it mean?
Let us say that numbers are of importance -> but what about them?
Can't find the 2nd clueeeeee.....:( i can't imagine where it iss:(
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First clue!!! I've been looking for days......
I have a theory....won't reveal it though.
Were not suppoed to tell where any clues are. I still can't find the second one.
AArgh, I have been looking for this for ages, as it is probably irrelevant now, could someone tell me where the first clue is so I can start looking for the second??????????????????????????
typical - it has now been found - you always find things when your not looking!!!!!
Thanks HeiselHolmes
@MissQuin
Yes, we shall not rest until we are avenged.
Yes, it seems Heaven and Hell wouldn't accept me. My thumbnail looks set to be a mess soon. I always chew it if I'm nervous or stressed, and with my tragic murder, and exam season... It'll be gone in a few hours.
Your ghosts are roaming the internet?!
M Hercule Poirot 2- check your email. It seems we've been informed of stuff.
I like the fact I got killed because I just returned to the site when I read the recent newsletter an hour ago and now I am no more. This is actually interesting me a lot from beyond the grave.
I will run across the moors crying out HEISEI!!! COME BACK TO ME! Like Wuthering heights, only without the love element, um were just friends! lol I can't even concentrate, i need caffine now for the shock.
Oh and HP2 I'm sorry for you too!
If I can't play anymore, you can at least look forward to my new stories. With nothing more to do, I got time to do that now.
*screams* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! My friend Heisei!
I will avenge your death! Or, um try to.. only I can't find this clue at all!
Hey, but you're dead!
And it was a double murder this time!
I've counted it twice: for me Blue Train was the 6th.
No the tenth book Agatha Christie wrote was The Mystery Of The Blue Train not Dumb Witness. Of course tenth including The Road of Dreams.
AAHHHH! No don't do it....
OMG! Poor HH & HP2!!!
Sorry, Lord Edgware is the tenth, but Blue Train is definitely the 6th.
~Sigh~ I feared that would happen. Oh well, all good things come to an end, right...?
Moderator2Oh dear m_hercule_poirot_2 and heiselholmes - have you seen the home page recently? You've been murdered!!!!
Oh, that is terrible. They were obviously too close
chris_14But I've just checked it, her tenth book was Dumb Witness, not the Mysterious Blue Train!
Realy? Then I gues I didn't count it correctly. Are you sure?
Oh dear m_hercule_poirot_2 and heiseiholmes - have you seen the home page recently? You've been murdered!!!!
Found the first clue too. Awesome!
I think we're going to have a few sets of three murders each. Each of them will have some theme. This could possibly tell us the murderer
But I've just checked it, her tenth book was Dumb Witness, not the Mysterious Blue Train!

I found the second clue too! I'm so proud of myself. I have them both now, and I think it may be leading towards a particular book. I can't wait for the third!!
Well I found the clue and it took me to a place that said it was the second clue. But I can't tell you anymore except that it was placed here today. Still looking for the first one though.
here is a theory: so the first victim of the first three victims was angelika_blue, the first victim of the second three( well I supose there will be 3) victims is beatriz91. If we take 9+1= 10 as tenth book, it is The mystery of the blue train -> blue and blue
I know, I know , its stupid
Since when there's a second clue? My thoughts are like yours GKCfan... But if there's a second clue then I could be wrong... Cause I checked and there's nothing there! Moderator please confirm?
Shino_2288Is she a new member? Or probably what matters the most is in the name Miss Quin... Just like the rest of the victims! Oooh this is getting exciting! Patterns after patterns... Heisei Holmes has a point!
What?!
Eeeeh?! There was a second clue?
Is she a new member? Or probably what matters the most is in the name Miss Quin... Just like the rest of the victims! Oooh this is getting exciting! Patterns after patterns... Heisei Holmes has a point!
Well, there goes the ABC pattern and the color pattern... but the "first name pattern" still holds. New theory... the Mystery Killer strikes in threes. When viewed together, the names of the victims are hints to where the next clue will be hidden. Perhaps the number "10" will be a clue, perhaps something else...
I found the second clue! YAY!
But unfortunately I haven't found the first one yet! But I'm looking for it.
1891- 1 year after Agatha Christie was born.
1991- They Do It With Mirrors was shown on TV with Joan Hickson
That's all I could think of that relates to Agatha Christie.
And again, just like in case of Angelika, the spelling of the name...

Ten can mean another book title (or rather story), but I have a collection of titles now! And I'm not an inch closer to the first clue!
I searched this site for her, nothing!
Nine plus one is ten, tenth book? I looked for Beatriz91 on Google, and found too much. It seems to be a common name. But add "Agatha" to the search, and nothing relavant appears... Hmmm...
This reply contains spoiler information. Show reply
Arrrrggghhh! A new victim!!! Beatriz 91!!! No point of it!!!
To find the first clue, all one needs is the eye to notice a pattern, and the little grey cells of Hastings (not Poirot, mind - that will be too hard for us). For any further clues, the main requirement is patience.
@ HarleyBarley: Either really =)
@ Shino 2288: it just gets more complicated, doesn't it? I suppose I will wait till the next murder to draw my conclusions...
Excuse my previous comment... The murderer might not even be male after all! Went back and examine the Chipping Cleghorn Gazette and the silhouette is artist's impression after all! Can the gender of the murderer even be a red herring too?
Ideas for what exactly? Ideas as to where to search next, ideas as to who the murderer is?
Any ideas HarleyBarley?
Or are you hesitant to share them for fear of being MURDERED? :)
First clue finally found. No, it does not need all too much time, just some little grey cells (sic).
Congrats NoOole! I don't think you are in any more danger of being killed than the rest of us, considering you have not said anything :)
Any ideas?
i might have to read the story again.
hope that i don't get killed
Finally,
I have found the first clue, sorry can't say anything
Wishing I bought that book now :( What if it has something important to do with the game?
Guess it's time to read back the story again! I guess it's not that obvious that the murderer is the killer from the story... (Oops! I might get killed!)
i dont think they put new clues in the website yet because as you said ilovewalruses2 in the newsletter it says that there will be more clues in the months to come- so.. i guess we have to wait... but i think that the colours in the name's of the victims(angelika_blue, biancaquan, and craker_jack) it will mean something at the end;);)....
But the clue itself said there will be more clues in the months to come- Ah well, I will just keep my eyes peeled. :)
ilovewalruses2 has a point, the newsletter said clues to the killer...so are there more than one? And is the murderer a male (if it matches the silhouette)? Or a female?
Sorry it's against the rules :(
You can find it, you just have to stop and think about it. Good Luck!
I have not found the first clue but I give up, I have been looking for it since the 7th of May and have not found it. Could anybody be so kind to tell me?
The newsletter said to keep looking for clues...Surely there isn't another one already? Well I will go make a quick check on the website
I noticed something of value, that can make up up a theory...The only clues we have are the names of the dead, the first victim's user name begun with an A (not both words though)The second's with a B ,and the third's with a C, that resembles pretty much the AC'S idea as presented in the A.B.C. murders.
I have still not found the clue (mainly due to being both busy and stupid!) and I belive you are allowed now on this topic to say where it is?
But I will have a last look before anybody reveals all!
Consider the clue... I believe that the exact words of the clue have been used to refer to multiple killers in Christie's books...

It's annoying... It must be very easy... but I'm still clue-less! And I should write my essay, so, I definitely shouldn't waste my time here.
Yes, that's all what I could think of, it must be in relation with the ABC Murders. (Or Mysterious Blue Train, or The Mirror Cracked From Side to Side - although, I'm not sure in these!).

MissQuinI saw the 1st clue but reread some of the murder names and noticed something.
well, I noticed that in cracker jack "ack" from cracker is exactly above "ack" from jack. So, I thought it had something to with Murder of Roger Ackroyd. But ofcourse, this was just my imagination running wild.
I saw the 1st clue but reread some of the murder names and noticed something.

33rd book? Maybe? Ahahah, I'm just making stuff up. That message you saw, was that the second clue?
I saw the number 33 on here, for no reason! odd...
The meaning of life is 33?!
I found something quite strange, actually... It wasn't a clue, I think it was just a broken link, though. But I'm not jumping to conclusions!

I meant "Wonky-Pooh" from Murder is Easy. That is a name that's a good reason to murder for...
lol what was the cats name HH? Fluffles, Lil Pixiebell, Tinker, Sparklemew, Princess Pinky (the cat's owner dyed it's fur pink) those names are good reasons for murder!
Marcia96well that's an idea:)(about the mystery case)!!!.... i can't thnk of an idea yet. i guess i will wait for the 2nd clue.....
I'm going to wait too. I hope it will be soon.
well that's an idea:)(about the mystery case)!!!.... i can't thnk of an idea yet. i guess i will wait for the 2nd clue.....
That seems like a better idea the more I think about it. The cat, in the kitchen, knocks over a bottle of arsenic with its tail. The motive? Revenge on the world for having such a horrific name! It's all coming together, heh heh... The culprit is YOU! *points at cat*.
HeiseiHolmes was found dead the next morning, with a pawprint on his forehead...

I have noticed a clue written in a message, which gives me an idea on what story it's from! I will tease you all by saying no more!
I have no idea whatsoever!
well, we have to think about it more carefully, but i think it will be more obvious after the 2nd clue....
I had one idea, but it doesn't make sense.
Yes me too but he might also not be from the AC book's. He might be someone who is choosing randomly to kill different people, but i think he is from AC book's.... anyway i will wait for the 2nd clue and see/guess then who he might be.. even though Miss Quin says that she thinks she know who he might be ;);)....
Oh Miss Quin are you afraid of getting to close to the truth? =)
Thats very interesting. I do not own the book, so I appreciate what I can find out about it. I am leaning towards the idea that the murderer is a character in a AC book simply because of the lack of details we have concerning the victims and their deaths.
I have a vauge idea of who it might be, I have two clues which suggest so. But I'm not revealing anymore!
I'm not sure if the silloutte could actually match the killer or not.
hmm thats a good point:) well i think that the mystery man could be one of the characters in the A.B.C murder's book. i have checked inside of the book and found 1 or 2 characters that might be suspicious but im not quite sure about them. Also while i was looking i found a part in the book which was talking about a place with white fences, green trees/brown soil, and a blue river... This point might be of no importance, but if you think about it carefully maybe it is a clue to where our victims died and where their grave's are, because the first victim was called angelika_blue the blue might be connected with the river which is blue, then the 2nd victim was called biancaquan if you translate bianca/quan in another language it mean white and white in the book were the white fences as i said about it before, and the 3rd victim was called craker_jack a cracker is brown, brown is also the soil... i found this clue while i was looking the book but of course it might also be of no importance....
brb
Well, quite honestly it is 99% speculation at this point. The silhouette vaguely resembles Hastings as portrayed by Hugh Fraser, and the clue made me think of him. Lastly, he was at the A.B.C Murders, and it is conceivable that with Poirot gone, he would believe himself out of danger of being caught. Do you have any ideas?
lol;)... but how do you know, i mean how did that idea come to your mind??...
Well in a nutshell, Hastings did it. lol
heyYY!!:) i found the clue 3 days ago;) i was also hoping to discuss the clue with other people and to share ideas about the murder or who could he be ....;) i want to listen to your theory first and see what you think about it ilovewalruses2 ;)...
Ooh I was hoping for one of these!
I have a theory, but it isn't very developed at all.
