I can't understand it.

I can't make sense of the forum, I think it is unnecessarily complicated and the warmth has gone.

I am assuming that we are supposed to read the book for the August book club by August 1 so that we can discuss it (assuming you want to be in the book club).

I'd also like to point out that AG has a huge following in the U.S. I'm a little disappointed by the focus on Great Britan on this site.  I'm a teacher English 10 (second year of high school), and I can tell you that "And Then There Were None" is a huge hit with the students.  In fact, a new show on CBS called, "Harper's Island" is a combination of AG's book and the movie "Saw".  AG's influence (directly or indirectly) cannot be overstated in the U.S.

I suppose everybody is different, but I preferred it when yellow lights indicated where new posts were and I also preferred it when you had the option of reading posts which had spoilers and it was up to people putting the posts to write SPOILER and it was up to othewrs who hadn't read the book that the post was about to stay away, to me it ssemed like a more sensible and common sense thing to do.

The only thing missing is that they are fighting guys! we are here to enjoy and to discuss what we like and what we can do for us like it more! this page is great .. perhaps a little messy, but it can be arranged with a link to see the new responses kisses

Tim I don't complain about everything and I do respect apm's opinion but I would respect it more if he or she hadn't put something so illogical without qualifying it but I suppose things like that you only learn with age, I agree with you about the icons next to people's usernames but I think this site is disorganized not the last one but I suppose that is a matter of opinion also.

Winnebago, please, keep it to yourself. You are only wasting your time picking everything I say. The fact is: we all have the right to express our opinion wherever we are. And well, I didn't say nothing of big importance. I just wrote two or three words and you are complaining about those three little words that weren't even important! You're acting like a child, I'm sorry to say, you are being immature and childish. You haven't nothing to do with your life, do you? Instead of being complaining about a little thing you could make something useful.

ariadnepoirotmarple I am entitled to my opinion just as you are entitled to yours all I am saying is that I wish there was an age restriction so people like you could express your opinion elsewhere, the fact that other people don't complain about your views does not mean they agree with them.

Although I still think the warmth is lacking I am getting ysed to the site, I do however think there should be a junior site for children like ariadnepoirotmarple so they can put silly little comments and leave mature debate to the grown ups.

If you do come across any bugs please let us know about them and we will get them fixed.

We're still updating the site and will be adding new features but it will be a great help to us if you can tell us when things go wrong.

I love the new change. It was about time the old one was getting old. I love the icons next to your name. What Warmth did the old one have? I thought it was rather cold.. Everything was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disorganized... I agree with apm.. you complain about EVERYTHING.. Like on the last formum and our olympics runin.. If you hate it so much then dont post. Also, Why Dont you respect apm's respons? I agree somethings are more fun when they are a bit complicated.. I also feel like a dont know everything on here and that it wont be neglected as far as news. This one seems so much more active and lively to me.. Its a bit more mysterious  (fitting with the theme) when it is complicated. Try and find something you like in it. I Also agree with GFK this site has bearly been out and your already complaining.. Wait till you get use to it.. When I opened it I didn't like it much either but when I look around a bit more I Loved it. The only complaint I have is that I dont like the font but thats minor.They also havent fixed all the bugs yet.

I am not sure what has less warmth this site or the remake of Murder on the Orient Express or the ITV GM Marple episodes. I have resorted to going onto facebook where there is an Agatha Christie group. I might post more on this site but I am not 100% sure.

Please don't give up on this forum yet. When the original site went up, it took several months for a community of fans to develop, and great topics and comments took time to develop. Hopefully, with the addition of new website features and time, we can get some great discussions going again. I think that the warmth of the old site came from Agatha Christie fans around the world sharing interests and respectfully arguing. Please don't abandon this site– if we all keep contributing, I think that we can fix most of your concerns.

I agree with Winnebago the warmths gone & I don't find any fun in visiting this new developed agathachristie website. Its not like how it used to be. And I really miss all those Guess the quote & identify characters games. It just doesn't feel right here when I post messages or read topics now. 'Old is gold' so I think that the old one was better in the sense that it was more exciting. I will really miss the old one but I guess one's got to learn to get used to changes.

This is a dreadful forum - I post and can't find it, I can't see how to start a new topic, you can't edit/delete - for goodness sake use phpbb! If it doesn't change soon, I'll give up with it!

Your post suggests you thought the site needed revamping ariadnepoirotmarple but I don't think it did, If it did it is a pity it couldn't be revamped and the forum kept the same.

Yes, I think the phpbb forums are clearer, I do like the appearance of the new site though, but the Forum does need a "View New Posts" link, in my opinion.

I think it would be obnoxious if they used a phpbb forum, they are so commonplace and blank. This one has personality.

Yes, I also think it's complicated but I wouldn't say that is 'unncessarily complicated', it's just different from the forum you were habituated to see, these things take time, we are all a little confused with the forum but we'll get habituated. I don't think the warmt is gone, no way.
