I just read the book And Then There Were None, and I thought it was outstanding. I would recommend this book to anybody over the age of 12. Does anybody recommend any other Agatha Christie book?

Can thoroughly recommend Crooked House, and Death Comes as the End - two books without HP or MM and they haven't been made into TV movies yet. See if you can guess whodunnit. I didn't.

Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, The Secret of Chimneys and The Seven Dials Mystery are worth reading but Why Didn't They Ask Evans is part of the new Marple Series which is a Travesty in my view

Like Tommy said, "The Secret of Chimneys", and "The Seven Dials Mystery" are great for the non series books to read. Of the short stories I would read "Witness for the Prosecution and other stories". For the Poirot's (it's hard to say because there are so many great ones) but I will pick just 2 "Sad Cypress", and "Death on the Nile". For Miss Marple: "A Caribbean Mystery" and "Nemesis".

I would recommend reading The Thirteen Problems. And not just because it is one of my favorite books. The plots are quite ingenious. The narrative style of the book is also very interesting. As for the novels I'd recommend The Body in the Library. It’s the second Miss Marple book I read and I loved it.

Isn't Witness for the Prosecution a play? Or is there a short story form of it that I don't know about? I own the book Witness for the Prosecution and Selected Plays and I've always known of it as a play.

Hello Frn!

Witness for The Prosecution and other stories was never published in the UK. It has stories in it like: The Hound Of Death. If you type in: Witness for the Prosecution and other stories, here on the AC website in the search box you should be able to read more about it.
