We've been reading all your comments and are in the process of changing the forum a little to help make it more user friendly.  We plan on having 3 sections in the forum:

Have Your Say - Where you can write about anything to do with Christie

A Library - Where those who already know the books can discuss them freely.  Please note there will be spoilers so don't enter this part if you don't want to know too much

A quick message section - similar to the current rumours area - where you can leave quick messages or have instant chats

We wanted some help with the different titles - are thoughts were:

Partners in Chat

The Books in the Library

Chatting is Easy

Any other ideas, gratefully received. So let us know your thoughts.

We'll be making the changes as soon as possible but thanks for your patience in the meantime.

I like those titles.

One other thing that occurred to me just now is that it would be nice to have a function where you can choose to be notified by e-mail if someone replies to a topic you're interested in. I think that would be a handy feature to have for those of us who don't really have the time to check each and every topic for updates every day, but would like to follow a particular discussion. I don't know if it's possible to add that kind of feature, but it might be a nice thing to have.

In the new "A Library" section, will the rules be like the "For the Very Knowledgable: Spoilers Everywhere!" category on the old website, where we never had to put up spoiler warnings since it was assumed that the participants were familiar with most or all of Christie's books?

Yes, GKCfan, that's correct. You'll be able to chat freely about the books but we would suggest that those who haven't read the titles avoid this area. Hi Holly, We're working on email updates at the moment and hope to have these in place soon. In the meantime, you can click on Recent Posts in the Left Hand Side navigation tab and these will show you the most recent conversations.

Great Gemma, I am looking forward to the "A Library" Section as I have just read a book "A Pocket ful of Rye" and had a point to make and posted it but can't find it. and hopefully will make the spoiler debate easier to handle.

I hope in the "Library" section there shall be still spoiler warnings. I just read many Poirot books and more books by Agatha Christie and I wanna discuss them. But if there are spoilers, I won't enjoy some of the books that I didn't read yet.

Hi detectivePaulJohn, The library won't contain spoiler warnings. It will offer people the opportunity to discuss books that they have already read. If you have not read the book, we would advise, not reading the comments about that title until you have.

I'm all for a section where we can discuss major aspects of the plots without having to give spoiler warnings. As long as members realise that the library exists for that function, they only have themselves to blame if they read something they dont want to. I find some AC books almost impossible to talk about without giving the game away. I was just posting in the "Curtain" thread and that is a case in point. I was trying to explain how I felt about the big moment of the book but realised anything other than a vague reference to it would have spoiled it for those who havent yet read the book

I need help. I can't seem to read the posts that are hidden because of spoilers. Nothing is coming up. Is it my 'puter or is it a glitch on the site right now? And wouldn't you know it, one of my posts is stuck in that "netherland"
