Please rate the book And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.

1-2-horrible

3-4-bad but some parts are a bit good

5-6-it's ok but something lacks

7-it's so good

8-eight stars

9-nine stars

10-brilliant + wonderful +10 stars

And tell me why did you rate it 10, 9 and so on.

I rate the book 10. I really love the characters especially when they were introduced. I love the setting. It is very thrilling, suspenseful, scary and a bit dramatic(in Vera's love for Hugo). The ending/murderer is surprising but the conclusion is not that surprising but still suprising. I have no favorite character but I think that the best character is Phillip Lombard. I recommend everyone to read it. How about you? What do you think? Who's your fave character? Tell me why did you rate it like that? Feel free to discuss about the book. =)

9/10, great book. I like the movie from 1945. It really is a tense and axciting movie, though they changed the names and the ending it still is a very good movie and a good adaptation of the book.

I think this book and Murder On The Orient Express have been slightly sppoilt by all the Hype sorrounding them, I don't really think either books are as good as others in the same Catagories although there are good just not as good IMHO sorry if that offends somebody but that is the way I feel.

There were 3 female Characters, the 3rd was the cook who like her husband were fairly forgettable and as I think a couple of the men are too alike, I think only Vera, Emily Brent and the Judge are Memrable.

I can sort of see why one might not like Vera Claythorne. But she was the only female character (apart from Emily Brent), so she was sort of appealing to me.

I would have to rate ATTWN as a definite 10.  Completely different from any other Christie work, it begins slowly, introducing us to the characters, then the pace and tension snowball.

Likeable characters, along with very unlikeable ones, a fantastic ending, the only thing better than reading this book is listening to Hugh Fraser read it!

I would rate And Then There Were One 9/10. It was absolutely marevolous. I mean the suspects, the plot, and the murderer, of course.

I liked Vera and eliminated her from the suspects list at once. For a while I thoght Philip.

I am probably entirely wrong but I get the feeling Ethel Rogers is a Grey haired plump woman of 60+. Emily Brent was a Handsome women and Vera Claythorne I imagine having long corn-coloured hair, I think she is slim and Beautiful, I saw a Documentary on ITV3 which mentioned the West End Production of 'And Then There Were None' which showeed the parts of Emily Brent and Vera Claythorne were played by Gemma Jones and Tara Fitzgerald, I think these were goiod choices but would also think Geraldine Newman (Janet Erskine in the BBC 1 version of 'Sleeping Murder') and and Daniel Denby-Ashe - Janie in My Family could also play the parts of Emily Brent and Vera Claythorne respectively.
