I heard this on a local radio station years ago. It's interesting that Charles Laughton and Elsa Lanchester were involved in Christie before "Witness for the Prosecution" (although I knew that Laughton played Poirot on stage in Alibi). Interesting how they made Cust the detective and gave him a love interest, too.

I was looking through the Old Time Radio shows on Internet Archive and noticed that the show "Suspense" had done a version of "The ABC Murders" in 1943.
At 30 minutes running time, only the bare bones of the plot remain, with nary a trace of our favorite Belgiun, but it was interesting to see how it was done. In the end, a quite listenable show, and amusing from a Christie-phile standpoint.
Here is the link to the Suspense main page. BTW, Internet Archive is a free site, this is not any sort of ad for anything.
