Wow! Some of those were thought lost or too degraded to release on DVD. Will the set be sold in separate volumes for those of us who already own some of them?

It seems they are part of a subscription and - once again a collection only sold in UK and Eire. That's very annoying, because it looks great.

Do you know if you could buy them individually? there are at least 6 I wouldn't want to have, Suchet's 'CARDS ON THE TABLE', McKewen's 'BODY IN THE LIBRARY' and 'SLEEPING MURDER' and Molina's 'MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS' among them and does it include the Pauline Collins version of SPARKLING CYANIDE?

In theory, U.K. residents can purchase separate issues using the "Shop" tab on the website - it allows you to select individual back orders.
Although I'll be buying the series as a completist, I won't be holding my breath for the rarities such as the Austin Trevor films. An Italian partwork released by the Malavasi company included the silent film of "The Secret Adversary", and the Glynis Johns film "Spider's Web" has received a standalone release in Italy, albeit only with Italian audio - it seems decent prints are out there and rights aren't impossible to negotiate... "Die Abenteuer GmbH [Adversary]" was a print with, I think, Dutch and French intertitles and Italian subtitles laid over the top.
Can't really see all the different versions of "Ten Little Indians" being given releases- the Italian series used the Oliver Reed / Elke Sommer / Richard Attenborough film although I expect we will get the 1945 or 65 versions, those already having been released in the U.K. Likewise, it would be nice to see Austin Trevor's "Lord Edgware Dies", along with "13 at Dinner" and the Suchet version, but would Joe Public want three editions in the same partwork?
I would personally prefer to see the Joan Hickson programmes rather than the ITV Marples - when the partwork was trialled in the South of England, the Hickson edition of "The Body In The Library" was used. Issue 5 of the trial releases was Lansbury's "The Mirror Crack'd" and I'm 99% certain it claimed the Pauline Collins "Sparkling Cyanide" was to be the (never released) Issue 6. I'm also fairly certain it was recently certified for a release over on the BBFC website.

WINNEBAGO1901Do you know if you could buy them individually?
Its a partwork which means all will be availble individually and in (larger) shops in UK - for those not all will be for sure appearing on an ebay near you soon :) it does state in magazine that above list is what they hope to release pending agreement on rights!

I just finished reading Appointment with Death by AC ... that was a cool book and I especially liked it title ... which first caught my attention when I was passing by this book store to buy a book to read for feeding my brains with it.

I also read something weird in that but it was having some hidden meaning behind it. I am still trying to figure it out.

The Man in the Brown Suit (1988) is soooo bad,it's cringeworthy. No plot, no real villain and some nutter that like dressing up!
Christie never deserved this and the fans don't either!

Are you talking about the Book or Film TheButlerDidit? It was obvious what the plot was and the identity of the Villlain, I felt the Book was brilliant and the Casting of (Most) of the Characters in the film was superb, I think it would have been great if the location hadn't been changed but that is a minor criticism in this case as Stephanie Zimbalist was Perfect for the role.

Hope it's ok to post this but I'm selling my mint collection of The Film Collection (up to date as of yesterday) and the original Poirot collection, I've put ads in the Classified section. It's a great series but I can't afford it any more :(

In that case we will have to agree to dissagree, I loved the film, I made a point of watching it on Sunday, Sadly these days for commercial reasons the films have to appeal to people who like Glitzy or Grand Adaptations and The American Producers seem to like things that way and as they put up some of the money they have to have their say, If the American people all werote in Unisopn to tell them they were wrong I am sure they would agree to things being done PROPERLY but I did enjoy this film so I wasn't to dissappointed to find out the book was set in London
