I think It was Quite Good but it is a pity there had to be the Odd Brother and sister and the Criminal Brother and sister, I would prefer to see Georgiam Moffett as Bundle though not Lady Derwent, and it shouldn't have had Miss Marple in it, Mark Williams was good though.
I havent read the book, but can anybody tell me why "Alice" died?
I liked the two leads helping Marple with the mystery, and loved the setting and visual production in 'Evans', but I did think the end was a bit silly.
They've also just shown 'They Do It with Mirrors'and Joan Collins is in it and she's FAbULOUS as always, but her role is too small! I loved this adaptation much more than 'Why Didn't They Ask Evans'. It seems to me that the true Marple adaptations are more sucessful than trying to insert her into another AC role.
I just watched the original that Win mentioned. It was very good and that one should be the only one boradcast unless another decent version is made.
it was a silly non sequiter (shoot the whole SHOW was, NOTHING to do with dame agatha) i WILL say the actress that was tatted is very beautiful. but i was TOTALLY lost watching the show too!!!!!

The snake tattoo was a complete waste of time. It basically exists to scream "CHINA! SINISTER MEANING! CHINA! CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINA!" at the viewer.
By the way, I am afraid my original post may be a "spoiler"? I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds like if I give away the ending, I would "spoil" it for others. My apologies. I see the box to check for "contains spoilers" for future posts.
Thank you so much. Knowing about what the tattoo symbolizes makes it clearer. I appreciate your help! I love these mysteries, but sometimes I am get so confused.

Britain hasn't seen it yet but from what I have heard you are better off getting the original with James Warwick and Francesca Annis which doesn't include Miss Marple because the Book didn't.

Hello! I'm new to this forum. I just watched "Why Didn't They Ask Evans?" on PBS today. I am so confused by the ending. I would like to know, were those two really her children and what did the snake tattoo mean? I watched it with my full attention and yet, I am baffled. If those two were really her children, why did she have to leave them? Were they the children of her first husband? Why did Wilson break down crying.
I read the book a few years ago and it is really different from the PBS show.
Thanks for all your help in advance. I may have to watch it again!
