I loved it, The Changes didn't anoy me apart from Colin's surname being Changed, I loved the Nod to Ariadne Oliver at the beginning, I didn't think it was better than the book but it was better than some of the Adaptations of recent years.
I thought it was an excellent adaptation and was i felt even better than the book. I particularly loved the late Anna Massey's portrayal of Miss Pebmarsh. Some changes were made like the shift in time from the early sixties to nineteen thirties but this i think is commom in the adaptations. The comedy provided by the blands early on was very entertaining. Overall very well done.
I can't wait for it, I think I have an idea what that references seeing the Cast on IMDB, If I am right it is a Lovely idea.
It's an excellent film considering the source material - The Clocks being probably one of my least favourite books. It has the feel of an 'old fashioned' episode of Poirot about it, and look out near the beginning for an amusing Ariadne Oliver reference.
I haven't seen it yet, apart from the fact Colin Lamb's Name is Changed which I think is a pointless alteration I am really looking forward to it.
Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Soldier Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear.
When the wealthy patriarch, Aristide, is murdered, suspicion falls on the whole household. ...
Travelling on the Orient Express, Poirot is approached by a desperate American. Afraid that someone plans to kill him, Ratchett asks Poirot for help ...
