For all UK listeners, I thought the following radio plays might be of interest:
Two comedy murder mysteries air this month on Radio 4 by the 50s crime novelist Pamela Branch.
"The Wooden Overcoat" was on last Friday and is on bbc iplayer for the rest of this week, and "Murder Every Monday" is on this coming Friday.
They are adapted by Mark Gattis who did the adaptation of "Cat among the pigeons" last year, and star David Tennant (Dr Who), John Castle (who played Lord Edgware in Lord Edgware Dies), Stephanie Beacham (Dynasty), Julia Davis (Nighty Night) and Simon Williams (Upstairs Downstairs).
There's definitely a Christie vibe to them. I enjoyed them when I heard them when they were first broadcast.
