Good news! I just got an e-mail back from Masterpiece Theatre, and they say that they plan to air episodes of Poirot, Marple, and Foyle's War (not an Agatha Christie show, but it's a great mystery series and created by Anthony Horowitz, a Poirot screenwriting veteran) this fall. The exact times and episodes will be released soon.
Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Soldier Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear.
When the wealthy patriarch, Aristide, is murdered, suspicion falls on the whole household. ...
Travelling on the Orient Express, Poirot is approached by a desperate American. Afraid that someone plans to kill him, Ratchett asks Poirot for help ...

I have seen some Internet rumors that Masterpiece Mystery! may not air any of the six available episodes of Poirot this summer, but nothing has been set in stone yet. Of course, this could just be a silly, baseless rumor, but if you're from the U.S. and you want to see Poirot this summer (preferably as many of the six available episodes as we can get), please go to this page:

Please write a nice letter asking them to please air some or all of the six new episodes of Poirot this summer– we don't want to have to wait another year! Remember, in 2008 they were going to air four new episodes, then they cancelled it at the last minute and in 2009 they only aired two of the four available episodes!
