Why I like Christie

I like Christie because the mysteries are more about the psychology of every day people rather than sensationalist issues like violence and sex. Those things are in them, but they're not the focus. And the detectives are about their grey cells rather than their physical attributes. Lastly, the stories are never "end of the world" issues but often events that would be frequently missed by the less adventurous. And Christie's writing is so much better than most other mystery writers. Lastly (for now), I like that I can re-read the stories and still appreciate them as much as the first time as most stories aren't worth a second time.
